The American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course ($65):

This class is designed for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. 

This course is ideal for expecting parents, existing parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.  This course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. This class will run for approximately 2 hours.

(Please refrain from bringing children to the public classes so that you're able to practice on the mannequins and concentrate on the material)  


The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR course ($85):

This class is designed for people who need to be certified in CPR. To name a few; teachers, coaches, daycare providers, lifeguards, or professional caretakers.   

During the course, an instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their adult, child, and infant CPR and AED skills practice and testing. In addition, you will learn how to assist an adult, child and infant who is choking and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).  This class will run for approximately 3-4 hours.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.  


The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers course ($95): 

This course is designed to fulfill the certification needs of a wide variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, technicians, EMTs, CNAs and others.  

Topics include:  CPR techniques for patients age newborn through adult; AED use for patients of all ages; two rescuer CPR/AED use; rescue breathing with pocket mask and BVM system, with and without advanced airway; choking relief for all ages.  
Upon successful course completion students will receive an AHA certification card valid for 2 years.

 

BLS for Health Care Providers SKills checks & Heartsaver CPR AED Skills checks ($70)

These can typically be done the SAME DAY or the next day after you call.  Must complete online class portion before your skills check.  

Safe Sitter Course (for ages 11-14) $99

The Safe Sitter® course prepares young adolescents for the profound responsibilities of protecting and caring for infants and children. 

The Safe Sitter® course  includes Babysitting as a Business, Success on the Job, Child Care Essentials, Safety for the Sitter, Injury Management, Preventing Problem Behavior, Care of Choking Infant, Care of Choking Child, Infant and Child CPR., Preventing Injuries and Behavior Management.

Safe Sitter® was founded in 1980 by Indianapolis pediatrician, Dr. Patricia A. Keener, after a 
colleague's 18-month-old choked to death while under an adult sitter's care. Dr. Keener 
developed Safe Sitter® as a medically accurate instructional program designed for young 
teens, no younger than 11. Dr. Keener has been recognized nationally for the educational 
excellence of the Safe Sitter® program by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive The Official Safe Sitter® Babysitter’s Handbook and a course completion card.
