Laura Punaro, RN, BSN - Laura founded Frontlines CPR in 2014 out of a desire to teach other families the life saving skills necessary to keep their young children safe.  Laura has worked as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse for eight years.  She attended The University of Virginia School of Nursing and began her career as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.  After working at Children's National Medical Center she transitioned to Georgetown University Hospital.  Laura is a Certified Instructor for the American Heart Association.

Lauren Missirlian, RN, BSN - Lauren has been a critical care nurse for over 11 years.  She received a BS from Virginia Tech in 2001 and went on to earn a BS in Nursing from the University of Maryland in 2002.  Upon graduating, Lauren began working at Inova Fairfax Hospital as a staff nurse, advancing to charge nurse, mentor and manager in the Intensive Care Unit.  Lauren spent a majority of her time as a member of the Rapid Response and Code Teams, responding to life threatening emergencies throughout the hospital.

Currently, Lauren is a staff nurse in the ICU at Virginia Hospital Center while raising her two small children.

Ashley O'Brien, RN, BSN - Ashley is a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit ("PICU") at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.  Before starting her job in the PICU, she was a nanny and babysitter for six years for several families in Northern Virginia.  In addition to being a nurse, Ashley loves hiking, traveling, Mexican food and singing country music.  She loves kids of all ages and is thrilled to have the opportunity to help teach parents how to keep their children safe by using life-saving skills in emergency situations.


Sarah Marshall Thompson, RN, BSN Sarah Marshall graduated from the University of Virginia School of Nursing in 2007. She began her nursing career at Georgetown University Hospital in General Pediatrics/Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She cross trained to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where she and Laura started working together,  and has been there for the past 4 and a half years. Sarah Marshall is certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).

Emily Boland, RN, BSN - Emily grew up in McLean, VA, and attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012.  Following graduation, Emily moved back to the DC area to start her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Georgetown University Hospital, where she has now worked for almost two years.
